GOOD NEWS! God has made a way through His Son Jesus Christ for anyone who would repent of their sins and believe in Jesus to have fellowship with God and a redeemed purpose in Him. At Hope we pursue that purpose in a three-fold discipleship process of Knowing Jesus, knowing His people, and making Him known. We invite you to explore below the practical ways we encourage every member of the Body of Christ (The Church Universal) to participate in this purpose.

John 15:5 tells us that ”apart from [ Jesus we ] can do nothing.” That is why the first step on our pathway of discipleship is to “Know Jesus“. We must know Him first as our Savior, who forgave us of our sins and gives us new life within Himself, and we must know Him as our LORD, the one who guides our life as we willfully obey Him. We encourage every follower of Jesus to weekly seek to know Jesus in a greater way through their own private time of worship (quiet time, devotional time, etc.) and through public worship with the Body of Christ. Though livestreams can’t replace the personal touch of fellowship, we invite you to know Jesus deeper through our most recent message and discover if Hope would be where you will come to know Jesus more.

When you know Jesus as your Savior and LORD, not only do you receive Salvation and new life, but you are adopted into the Family of God and are a necessary part of the Body of Jesus that we call the Church. As a part of the church each of us are called to exercise our spiritual gifts for the building up of the Body and to stir one another up to love and good works. We encourage all believers to know one another in a progressively deeper and more familial way. The way we know one another better at Hope is through out Encourage and Equip Groups. Our Encourage groups are open groups where one can be encouraged in their faith and find community for the good and bad times. Our Equip groups are groups that have open enrollment, but are closed once they begin. When joined one will partake in short term class that seeks to equip you with the tools that each believer needs to carry out their purpose and mission in Christ. When we love Jesus and are living in Him, We cannot help to share about Him in our lives. Two ways we encourage all believers to make Jesus known is by serving in their local congregation and in sharing the Gospel as they go throughout their everyday life.
